About us

Located on one of the most beloved streets of Montreal, Street Monkeys is the perfect place to enjoy a dinner with friends or family. We specialize in smaller dishes to share in a festive setting. Our signature cocktails and unique selection of natural wines are sure to complement our ambitious menu.

Our executive chef & co-owner Tota Oung was born in Thailand and raised in Montreal by a Cambodian mother. Inspired by his mom’s recipes, he dreamed of opening a restaurant where he could showcase the diversity of Cambodian cuisine while also utilizing his own creativity.

In 2017, thanks to 4 friends, Street Monkeys was born. Today, our menu features mainly Cambodian & Thai inspired dishes with produce sourced from South east Asia and Quebec.

From our aromatic curries to our flavorful stir-fries, every dish is a true celebration of everything Cambodia with a hint of Thailand and Montreal.

Cheers to a great meal and a great time!
